Supporting SRIC

Southwest Research and Information Center's mission is "to provide timely, accurate information to the public on matters that affect the environment, human health, and communities in order to protect natural resources, promote citizen participation, and ensure environmental and social justice now and for future generations."

Your Help Needed
Please consider supporting SRIC's work. Today we are facing ever increasing threats to our health and our environment. More and more communities are requesting our assistance as they deal with threats to their health, their water, their land, and their way of life. From the health effects of having a hazardous waste landfill in your backyard, to the chemical wastes pouring into our rivers and our groundwater from mining operations. And the efforts by Navajo communities struggling to keep new uranium mines from opening - communities already dealing with the health effects of past uranium mining. Your tax-deductible donation can help us continue our much needed work with communities. We can even take a credit card donation over the phone, just call Don or Annette at 505-262-1862. Please give generously. Thank you.

Free Issue of Voices
Please help us spread the word about Southwest Research and Information Center/Voices from the Earth. If you have friends, relatives, or coworkers who might be interested in some of the issues we work on, we will be happy to send them a free sample issue of Voices. Just send us their names and addresses. Mail the list to: SRIC, PO Box 4524, Albuquerque, NM 87106; or by e-mail to: Info@sric.org.

Holiday List
As the end of the tax year approaches, please consider donating your used Pentium (or higher) computer or laptop to our organization. Or if you have a four- or five-drawer lateral file cabinet taking up space, we'll take it off your hands. Same with a gently used laser or ink jet printer, digital projector, or video camera. All items are tax-deductible. Just call Don or Annette at 505-262-1862, and we'll work with you to arrange pickup.

In Memoriam
The staff of Southwest Research and Information Center offer our heartfelt condolences to our coworker Raymond Morgan and his family as they deal with the loss of their mother, Mary Casamero Morgan, on December 11, 2001. She was a big influence on their lives and will be greatly missed.

SRIC can now take credit card donations (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).
Just call us at 505-262-1862, or e-mail us (Info@sric.org) your phone number and we will call you. For security purposes, please do not send your credit card information via e-mail, we will contact you by phone.

(SORRY, we are not set up to take orders online as of yet.)
