MISSION: Southwest Research and Information Center is a multi-cultural organization working to promote the health of people and communities, protect natural resources, ensure citizen participation, and secure environmental and social justice now and for future generations

Supporting SRIC

Southwest Research and Information Center's mission is "to provide timely, accurate information to the public on matters that affect the environment, human health, and communities in order to protect natural resources, promote citizen participation, and ensure environmental and social justice now and for future generations."

YOUR SUPPORT NEEDED

Southwest Research and Information Center depends on the gifts of individuals, foundations and corporations for its ability to work on behalf of New Mexico's environmental issues and concerns. Without YOUR help, we cannot take on the pressing environmental, health, and economic issues that affect our daily lives.

How about pledging an amount each month for the next 12 months? A pledge of just $10 a month provides $120 a year for our work on your behalf and on behalf of the environment. Just let us know, and we can send you monthly reminders or charge your credit card each month. Call Annette or Don for more details at 505/262-1862.

Donate Your "Tax Relief" Check to SRIC
Donate your George W. Bush "Tax Relief for America's Workers" check to SRIC. SRIC's work is needed now, more than ever. Just endorse your $300, $500, or $600 check to SRIC, and mail it to us at your convenience. Help us continue our work to protect the environment. All donations are tax-deductible.

2001 Combined Federal Campaign
It's nearly that time of year again. Thanks again to those individuals who contributed to SRIC last year as part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for Central and Northern New Mexico. And for those who missed us last year, the 2001 CFC cycle is coming up again. Please remember us when it is time to designate your CFC contribution. Your generous contribution lets us continue our work on issues related to environmental equality and health, and economic concerns related to the environment. See your Human Resources office for more information, or contact us at 505/262-1862.

WISH LIST
As with most non-profit organizations, SRIC has minimal resources with which to acquire new equipment or technology. We are currently wishing for the following:

  • Air Conditioner
  • Laser or Ink Jet Printer
  • Slide and/or negative scanner
  • Dedicated Internet connectivity

If you, or someone you know, can provide us with these much-needed items, please contact Annette or Don at 505/262-1862. In most cases, donation of these items or services can be counted as in-kind, tax-deductible contribution.

"We support the land, people and culture of New Mexico. Our focus is to find out from the people what they love to do and use that to boost their economies. A goal is to bring some unity and equity and to level out the playing field within the arena of economic development for the local population"
