    • Effects in Navajo, Native American miners often disproportionately HIGHER than in other racial groups
    • Latency — the time between exposure to a toxin and the onset of an illness; for U miners, 2 years to 30+ years
  • General Population — population exposures; includes families of uranium workers
  • Livestock — animal uptake studies in uranium mining areas
  • Environmental — air, water, land in uranium areas
