Research and Information Center Attention all Post ’71 Uranium Workers We are a voluntary committee committed to those Post '71 uranium miners, millers, and ore transporters who are suffering due to the affects of uranium exposure. Our goal is to bring public, political, and legislative attention to the fact that Post '71 people are getting sick and dying at an alarming rate with no compensation from the responsible parties. We have begun research to discover and disclose the facts; or lack of facts surrounding the controversy of who is responsible for the inadequate safety precautions and procedures that were put into place during the employment of these people. Our ultimate goal is to get legislation to extend the RECA compensation program to include everyone who worked in the uranium industry up to 1990. We are currently collecting data and statistics through a voluntary survey that can be downloaded at www.post71exposure.org. We will be using the data to lobby legislation in August in Washington, D.C. Our lobbying efforts will cover:
