“Those who develop the technologies, who promote them and stand to profit most from them, are not those who suffer their risks. The analysis of technologies is biased toward their use because the technology promoters generally lack the expertise and the incentive to analyze the risks of the technologies for human health and the environment.”

H. Patricia Hynes,
"The Recurring Silent Spring" (1989)

SRIC LAUNCHES DONOR CAMPAIGN

Southwest Research and Information Center began a special donation campaign last month to support our on-going work. We thank those individuals who have contributed to SRIC and whose generous contributions have allowed us to continue our work on issues related to environmental health and equity and economic concerns related to the environment. We need YOUR support. While we’ve done a lot in the last 35 years, there’s a lot more to do! If you have received one of our letters, please consider sending in a contribution to support our programs at SRIC.

You can also donate online at www.sric.org through a secure server powered by Network for Good. We can take a credit card donation over the phone, or you can mail your donation to us at Southwest Research and Information Center, PO Box 4524, Albuquerque, NM 87196.

Let’s work together to protect the environment and health of our children, our grandchildren, and all the children of future generations of New Mexico.

2006 Central & Northern New Mexico Combined Federal Campaign

We are happy to announce our inclusion in the 2006 Central & Northern New Mexico Combined Federal Campaign. SRIC has been included in the CFC campaign since 2002. We want to thank our current CFC sponsors for their continuing support of our work. We look forward to seeing folks at the Kick-Off Events in September, and remember, our CFC code remains the same: 7067.
